Es will bilden, ohne zu belehren, ohne die gezeigte Kunst durch beengende Erkl\u00e4rungen zu beschneiden. Und welches Thema b\u00f6te sich mehr f\u00fcr einen Bildungsauftrag bei gleichzeitig dichter k\u00fcnstlerischer Auseinandersetzung an als \u201eM\u00fcll\u201c? Denn \u00fcber M\u00fcll m\u00f6chte eigentlich niemand gerne nachdenken. Weder \u00fcber die hunderte Kilo Hausm\u00fcll, den jede*r Deutsche j\u00e4hrlich fabriziert. Noch \u00fcber Giftm\u00fcll, Atomm\u00fcll, verschmutzte Fl\u00fcsse, Mikroplastik in Fischen oder gar im eigenen Hirn. Foto: J\u00fcrgen Spiler<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9f65721 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9f65721\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Ausstellung beginnt ruhig, leitet durch Kunst aus den 60er bis 80er Jahren: eine Skulptur aus alten Autoblechen von C\u00e9sar Baldaccini, Fotos von Allan Kaprows Happening <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transfer (for Christo)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aus dem Jahr 1971<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> das K\u00fcnstlerbuch <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nur dumme Fische sterben in schmutzigen Fl\u00fcssen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (1974) von H. R. Decker. Die Ausstellung gewinnt dann an Tempo, es tut sich das erste monumentale Werk auf, eine raumgreifende Installation von Kader Attia: Man geht durch eine Art Gasse, links und rechts Fassaden aus heruntergelassenen Ladenrollos. Dar\u00fcber ein Gitter, auf dem wie herabgeworfen Hausrat, alte Kabel und andere Dinge liegen \u2013\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los de Ariba y los de Abajo <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(2015), die von Oben und die von Unten. Mit freundlicher Genehmigung des K\u00fcnstlers sowie Galerie Nagel Draxler Berlin\/K\u00f6ln\/Meseberg<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-125bee2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"125bee2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das darin implizierte Machtgef\u00e4lle ist nicht auf diesen Ort beschr\u00e4nkt zu verstehen. M\u00fcll, das wird in der gesamten Ausstellung deutlich \u2013 ist \u00fcberall auf der Welt vor allem eine Frage von Macht. Er macht hierarchische Gef\u00e4lle sichtbar und verschleiert zugleich vielerorts globale Gewaltstrukturen. Die k\u00fcnstlerischen Arbeiten verstehen das auf so beeindruckende Weise zu vermitteln, dass die zus\u00e4tzlichen Erkl\u00e4rungsangebote manchmal fast \u00fcberfl\u00fcssig wirken.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Arbeit <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brown Goods<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2020) von Karimah Ashadu etwa folgt Emeka, der gef\u00e4hrliche Wege aus Nigeria \u00fcber Lybien und Lampedusa auf sich nahm, um f\u00fcr ein besseres Leben nach Deutschland zu kommen. Wie viele Migrant*innen aus Westafrika hat er aufgrund seines Aufenthaltsstatus keine Arbeitsgenehmigung und geht einer inoffiziellen Besch\u00e4ftigung nach: Er handelt in Hamburg mit ausrangierten elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten. \u201eBrown goods\u201c nennt man im Englischen umgangssprachlich Unterhaltungselektronik wie Fernseher oder Computer. K\u00fchlschr\u00e4nke oder Trockner gelten als \u201ewhite goods\u201c. Abnehmer*innen des deutschen Elektroschrotts sind ausgerechnet H\u00e4ndler*innen in der nigerianischen Hauptstadt Abuja. Die zu M\u00fcll erkl\u00e4rten G\u00fcter beginnen dort, dank der H\u00e4nde nigerianischer Arbeiter wie Emeka, ein zweites Leben. Protagonist*innen in Einhornkost\u00fcmen aus M\u00fcll lassen auf Balkonen, in Steppen und unter Wasser die Grenzen zwischen Ding, Natur und Mensch verschwimmen.
