Circular openings in the leaves of various woody plants result in a mysterious hole code that needs to be deciphered. They are the feeding traces of the endangered leafcutter bee. In the broadest sense, a code is a language and all communication is based on the exchange of information that is generated by the sender according to a certain code and interpreted by the receiver according to the same code. The work poses the question of possible and necessary forms of communication between man and nature.
