Max Gömann's main work includes oil paintings and works on paper using a mixed technique of drawing and printing. His work refers to his environment and the space that surrounds him. This can involve individual everyday situations as well as specific events. After graduating from art school, he was particularly influenced by a six-month stay in the USA, which brought new impetus to his work. Max Gömann currently lives and works in Cologne.
