Never take candy from strangers

With his current series of works of the same name, VON SILBERLAND is breaking new artistic ground. Having previously worked primarily with photography, the artist is now transforming manual drawings into digital visual worlds. The title “Never take Candy from strangers” is based on childhood memories of Von Silberland, who grew up in Argentina, and forms the starting point for his formal language.

The top floor of a former transformer station (Kreativzentrum Christiania e.V.) in Berlin Wedding will be used.

The top floor, which will be available for an exhibition for the first time, will become an inviting platform with a diverse supporting program above the rooftops of Berlin on the weekend of 5-7 November.
