the happiness of belonging (Keramik)
“Sybiogenesis is not a synonym for the good, but one for co-becoming in responsability.”
Allied materiality,
organic activity,
forms of connectedness,
across categorical distinctions.
the happiness of belonging describes an “ecology of relationships” between nature and society. A symbiotic assemblage in which lines of connection, entanglements and affinities are evoked through form and materiality. They play visually with the viewer and generate a jointly coherent structure.
With this work, the artist also deals with her anthelmophobia (fear of everything that creeps) and consciously confronts herself with the earth and its worm-like inhabitants. She finds ways to connect with the non-linguistic participants and thus questions the sensitivity of our perceptions.
