REMISERABLE - Eine Ausstellung vor dem Abriss

LOCATION

Remise in the backyard

of Baumschulenstr. 18,

12437 Berlin

TIME

Sat, 10/24/2020

2 - 10 pm

Sun, 10/25/2020

12 - 8 pm

The Remise at Baumschulenstraße 18 in Berlin won't be around for much longer. At the beginning of November, it will have to make way for a construction project that aims to create socially acceptable living space for Berlin.

We want to pay a final tribute to the old coach house and make it accessible to the public once again shortly before its demolition. Together with the artists Kristiane Kegelmann and Benjamin Breitkopf, we have conceived an exhibition that will show both existing and new works created on site.

Although in very different ways, both artists work with motifs, materials and opportunities that they encounter in everyday life. This makes their examination of the space and the given situation all the more exciting.

“Remiserable” contains memories, snapshots and new starts.

HYGIENE CONCEPT

Controlled entry with mask only, outside and inside

max. 6-10 people inside

Bar, outside and covered until 10 pm

max. 40 people in the outdoor area

Even though we will hold the event with all due caution and in compliance with the latest guidelines, we would like to advise people from risk groups to only attend our events again when the general risk of infection is lower.

We would also like to remind you to stay at home even if you have mild symptoms and to look forward to our next event!
