Art advice

Visitors stand in front of the artwork "X-Ray Lungenflügel" by artist Sibylle Wagner.

Advice at eye level

Good art advice requires two skills: Firstly, advisors must be very familiar with current art events and art history. This means being aware of trends, but not falling for them, knowing price developments and having a good eye for materiality and value. On the other hand, they must also be able to put themselves in the other person's shoes. Buying art is also about emotion and connection, so trends, prices and market analysis sometimes become secondary. But it doesn't always have to be expensive - at ato, most artworks can also be leased or rented! A personal consultation is possible, for example, through a free video call.

Our art advisors

A portrait of Sabine Adler in front of a black background.

Sabine Adler has turned as an art historian and cultural manager her passion for art and culture into a profession. Since she likes to pass on her enthusiasm for contemporary positions, unusual exhibition projects and conversations with artists, she has now been on the road for five years as a freelance art historian, cultural mediator, moderator and art actor in southern Germany and her home region, the Palatinate.

A portrait of Norina Quinte in front of a black background.

Norina Quinte is a founding member of ato. She is the daughter of an artist couple and studied art research and media philosophy. She has a highly trained eye for aesthetics, proportions and spaces. She is well versed in art history but is also always active in the current art debate. She does not presuppose her own knowledge of art in conversations. Her aim is to actually communicate art and break down barriers in the art market.

Hannah Klein is a founding member of ato. She regularly visits exhibitions in Berlin and also writes about them in Crisp Magazine. She studied economics, which gives her a particularly conscientious view of price developments and speculation. She also worked for a renowned artist for a while, with whom she traveled to all international art fairs (including all Art Basel fairs).
