ato has launched a magazine!

After all, it's not easy to understand the art market and discussions from the art scene - far too detached, far too exclusive, even for people from the art world. Crisp is a magazine for anyone who wants to understand the art world and scrutinize its mechanisms.

How does the art system work? Where does something go wrong? What actually makes a work of art so fascinating and when is it okay to not take artists quite so seriously?

The editorial team writes about art for people without a doctorate in art history, with the aim of allowing perspectives outside the art canon and giving a voice to artists outside the established houses, institutions and glossy art magazines.
