Introducing: Jordan Madlon

Portrait of the artist Jordan Madlon in front of a black background.

Jordan Madlon works at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and drawing. Using forms crafted from materials such as wood, textile, and aluminum, he develops a distinctive visual language that explores the relationship between color, line, and space. He studied at the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design in Saint-Étienne and at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. In 2017, Madlon received the Kunstart? Prize from the Fondation François Schneider, and in 2021 he was awarded the Woodcut Advancement Prize by the Kunstmuseum Reutlingen. He has been a fellow of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation and completed a residency in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

His work is represented in numerous international collections, including the Fondation François Schneider, FRAC Auvergne (Clermont-Ferrand), the Kunstmuseum Reutlingen, and the Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg. Jordan Madlon currently lives and works in Mannheim.

At ato, the artist is represented by Carolin Heel.

Exhibitions by artists from the ato network

ato's art network consists of a large number of artists and art agents. They are regularly invited to exhibitions or organise their own artistic interventions and public exhibition formats. We present the current events from our network in our calendar. We cordially invite you to drop by!

As many people come from Karlsruhe or Berlin, a current exhibition can often be discovered in both cities. But of course also in other places.

Karlsruhe and Berlin have very different art scenes, which we are happy to inform you about. If you are interested, you can find more information here:
